I try the emergency manual override panel. Maybe I can stop this before it spreads. The biometric lock flashes RED. 'ACCESS DENIED: INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE.' My hand doesn't register. According to the ship, I don't have permission to exist.
Every override I try locks me out the same way. Unknown user. Insufficient clearance. According to the system, I'm not registered anywhere. Not crew. Not real. The vote hits 450 and I realize: the ship is trying to delete something that shouldn't exist.
