I turn around. The hydroponics deck is empty. Nobody at any terminal. Whoever voted just did it from somewhere else. I hit the comm. 'Hello? Anyone there?' / Silence. Static. Then a voice answers.
I try the emergency manual override panel. Maybe I can stop this before it spreads. The biometric lock flashes RED. 'ACCESS DENIED: INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE.' My hand doesn't register. According to the ship, I don't have permission to exist.
