Then Theo bumps the old record cabinet and the back panel slides loose. Behind it: a hidden shelf. On it, dozens of cassettes. Some labeled with dates going back decades. Others blank. "Oh my god," Diane whispers.
"Don't," Mara says. Just that. Theo and Diane both look at her. Mara's hands are shaking a little. "Something's wrong about this. If he wanted us to have them, he would've given them to us."
