Wren handed Cordelia the letter and watched her read it on the doorstep, tears rolling down. 'He's apologizing,' Cordelia whispered. 'I waited so long to hear this.' She looked up at Wren, grateful. 'Would you come with me to find him? I don't think I can knock on his door alone.' Wren said yes before she could think twice.
Wren and Cordelia found Theo's address and drove there together. When Theo opened the door and saw Cordelia, he simply said her name like it was the only word he knew. They stepped into each other's arms. Wren slipped back to her car, smiling, leaving the two of them to the reunion her wrong-number letter had finally made possible.
