Milo reaches out and touches the wall of static. It's warm and buzzing, and his hand sinks in to the wrist. On the other side he feels keys, a keyboard hidden inside the edge of the world. 'Type something,' Priya breathes. Milo types HELP. The static ripples and words appear: ADMIN, IS THAT YOU?
Milo types into the hidden keyboard: 'Not admin. Just someone who lives here. Please don't delete us.' The static glows soft blue. UNREGISTERED VOICE ACCEPTED. WORLD_07 MARKED OCCUPIED. The gray wall thins until the highway runs on into normal distance again. Priya laughs. 'You talked to the edge of the world and it listened.'
