I said nothing. Maybe they'd forget me. They did not forget me. Auntie Shazia: "The quiet one can bring drinks." Uncle Tariq: "Agreed. Drinks." Grandma: "Not the fizzy ones. They upset your father." MY father? I typed nothing. They assigned me drinks anyway. There was a checklist now. My number had a checkmark next to it.

Auntie Shazia: "Why is he not replying? So rude." Uncle Tariq: "That's Faisal for you. He never replies. Not since 2019." Grandma: "Leave Faisal alone. He is sensitive." They had decided I was Faisal. Faisal had a whole reputation. Somehow I was already living down to it.

Uncle Tariq: "TWO FAISALS?" Then Faisal messaged me privately: "Bro. Who are you and why are you living my life better than me?"
