I walked to the dock. The water was still rising. People in boats. People swimming. People gone. Sefu came up behind me. Sefu: 'We have to decide. Go down there, or help the people out there.' Me: 'He wouldn't have left the will unless—'
Me: 'If he built something down there, we have to know what.' Sefu: 'Yeah.' We walked to the basement door. I was terrified. Sefu took my hand. He hadn't done that since we were kids. Sefu: 'Let's do this together.'
