I walked to the dock. The water was still rising. People in boats. People swimming. People gone. Sefu came up behind me. Sefu: 'We have to decide. Go down there, or help the people out there.' Me: 'He wouldn't have left the will unless—'

Me: 'People are dying out there. We're going.' Sefu: 'But the will—' Me: 'The will can wait.' I was already heading for the dock. Sefu: 'You think he'd like that? You helping, instead of listening?' That one landed.
