sci-fi◐ MatureAt 11:52 a figure in a gray coat climbs the back stairs, moving like they've done it a hundred times. Mara steps out. 'Police! Hands!' The figure freezes, then slowly turns. The face under the hood makes her stomach drop. It's her own.
The other Mara smiles sadly. 'You always get here eventually,' she says. 'I'm you from loop one hundred. I kill him to reset it, because the alternative is worse.' She won't say what. Mara has one second to choose: trust herself, or stop herself.
What happens next?
1 ways forwardMara lowers her gun and grabs her double's arm instead. 'No more shortcuts,' she says. Together they burst into the apartment and yank Elias clear just as the real killer, Reyes, lunges from the kitchen. Two Maras are too many for him. They take him down, and at midnight the rain finally stops for good.
