"I'm sure," Milo said. He borrowed a bright, happy day and gave it to his grandpa. That afternoon, Grandpa laughed for the first time in weeks and took Milo fishing. It was the best day ever. Then Milo remembered: he still had to pay the day back himself, by Friday.
Friday came and Milo forgot. On Saturday he woke up and the fishing trip with Grandpa was simply gone from both their memories. Grandpa was sad again, like it never happened. Milo cried and ran to the door to beg for it back, vowing to never miss a deadline again.
